“Odeng” is derived from the Japanese word of “Oden”, while “Eomuk” is the native Korean word. Odeng is one of the gems of Korean food for the Korean people and the foreigners. It tastes great, filling and cheap. It is the Street food that you can find everywhere for just 50 cents a pop. It also can be eaten as spicy and plain. It is made from processed fish cake with pureed fish and other ingredients. It also be served with warming soup. The other way to eat odeng are with bunsik like tteokbokki, bibim noodles or twigim. Other than that, you also can add udon noodles to the soup and enjoy it as Odeng Guksu.
